Montessori Academy is hiring for a full time Montessori Toddler Guide (18 months - 36 months). Applicants must have certification from a MACTE or AMS accredited teacher education program, currently be enrolled in training, or be willing to train in the future. The ideal candidate must have a strong commitment to Montessori philosophy, partnership relationships, and collaboration. Montessori Academy is seeking energetic and dependable individuals to work in our After School Care Program. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age with a high school degree. Previous childcare experience is preferred. Responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to): supervising and engaging with students, facilitating snack for younger students, creating and maintaining great relationships with students and parents. The hours are 2:45-5:30pm Monday-Friday. Option of additional hours if the candidate is interested in being added to the substitute list.
