Summer Camp Programs

Primary Summer Program
Summer is a wonderful time to be at Montessori Academy! We will offer a variety of activities that provide children with continued academic progress as well as lots of fun. No matter how interesting the activity, the daily return to a quiet independent work time reassures each child of his/her opportunity to learn and grow. Summer Risers
We highly recommend that all new students and kindergarten graduates, who will be entering our Lower Elementary program, attend the full 10 week session or at least a minimum of two weeks to facilitate a smooth transition into our 2007-8 Lower Elementary program. Current Elementary students who need additional help are also encouraged to attend. Follow these links for more information on the program and the summer calendar:

Summer Day Camp

The Elementary Day Camp is a program for students in our Elementary Program (first - eighth level). Students from other schools are also welcome. As in previous years, our popular teachers, Mr. Woodlee and Mrs. Pound, will direct this program.

Elementary Day Campers will enjoy arts, crafts and other activities such as bicycle riding, bicycle safety (by the Police Department), fire safety (by visiting firefighters), gardening, horseback riding/movie/pizza Fridays, picnic lunches on the back lawn, roller skating, sprinkler days, nature walks on our 23 acre wooded campus, and much more.
